ANSWER THE CALL

“ANSWER THE CALL”

Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,

Ephesians 4:1

If you ever feel unworthy to answer the call, remember that Jesus used a bunch of flawed people to share hope with the world. Jesus didn’t call the equipped, He equipped the called.  The calling of God is not a light thing. It must be taken seriously because your life and that of others depend on it. It’s a great responsibility heaven is putting into your hands and He knows you can do it (See Philippians 4:13). Don’t look down on yourself, Jesus made you worthy by His blood and He will surely enable you to fulfilling your unique calling. Heaven needs ambassadors on earth, if you’re called to be one of them, then you should appreciate heaven’s gift by accepting it and walking in that calling.  Accept the Lord’s gift by answering His call on your life. Jonah wanted to run away from God’s calling upon his life and he ends up in the belly of a large fish for 3 days and nights! Scary! He got delivered after he had repented of his foolish decision.

I stopped running and accepted the call He had on my life. When I met Jesus, my life changed. The change didn’t happen overnight just like it will not take a baby to start bearing teeth the day he or she was born. Some days were hard because I still wanted to do my own things and walk on my own beat. God helped me deal with my brokenness and acknowledge that He alone can satisfy me. God taught me that walking with Him means total dependency, and steady progression. Walking with God means going at His pace, not our own. I am still a work in progress! Is my life perfect since I answered the call? No! My life is sweeter every day the closer I get to Him. Not my will, but His. When we read 2 Corinthians 5:7 ’For we walk by faith, not by sight.’ It is saying that we are no longer relying on ourselves and following our own dreams. Rather we are walking in complete dependence on God and that He knows what is best for us.

  1. Amen. It’s so important to answer the call. I had to realize that the call on my life isn’t just for me, its for others.
Thank you Woman of God for answering the call. God bless.

    Amen! Congratulations Reverend Manuela!
Answering God’s Call is for our good because
God is Self-Sufficient! God is calling us to belong to Him, to SERVE Him, and to be Citizen of Heaven! Our destiny is hidden in serving God!
Peter, Matthew, Paul…and even Jesus answered the Call of God. All we have to say is YES! YES!
NO EXCUSES! God already knows it all!

  3. Amen! I am so very thankful to God for so much in my life. You know sometimes it takes a minute to realize what our specific gift is. Even after accepting God as my Lord and Savior, I still didn’t understand what my gift is. It took me awhile but I recently heard it said that, “we don’t pick our gift, God has already instilled it in us from the very beginning. Maybe I was trying to pick my own gift🤔, not realizing I didn’t have to do that. I love the fact that God has given all of us a gift and not the same gift (Romans 12:6-8) so whatever your gift is, answer the call. It’s by far one of the best decision you will ever make in your journey.
I thank God for giving Manuela a platform that allows God’s people to speak life into each other. To God be the glory, forever and ever….
